Nigeria’s Afro-pop icon, D’Banj was honoured with a BEFFTA Entertainment Icon Award at the British House of Parliament in Westminster, London.

The award, presented to him over the weekend by Lord John Bird, was in recognition of his exploits in the entertainment sector.

“I am very grateful for this award. I realized about three years ago, that to whom much is given, much is expected, so I am happy to be honoured and will continue to do my best for my fans and all those I can help,” D’Banj said after receiving the award.
